The Oregon IDA Initiative is a matched savings program that helps first time homebuyers who live in Oregon save for their home purchase. Qualified participants who are accepted into the program save in a special savings account for a minimum of three months and have their savings matched at a rate of $5 for every $1 they save.

Portland Housing Center IDA program participants save over a period of three months to two years and can receive up to $10,000 in IDA Match Funds for their home purchase. Only registered Portland Housing Center clients can apply to the IDA Program. Ask your HomeBuying Specialist if you qualify for this program.
