I’m a midwestern girl who searched up and down the east coast before realizing that Portland is my home. I arrived here as a software consultant only to find that this is a place with a personality unlike any other.
Looking for ways that I could learn more about the area and hoping to share what I learned with others (and to get out from behind my computer screen!), I decided to become a real estate agent in 2012. Since then, I have only fallen more in love with this weird big-little town and I am eager to help you do the same.
I enjoy working in real estate because no two days are alike and every day presents the chance to get to know a new colleague, client, or neighborhood. In fact, what I love most about this line of work are the connections it enables me to make with both places and people. That’s why my job is not just to hand you the keys to your new house, or to find the right buyer for your current one, but to help you feel more at home in Portland or wherever you may be headed.
I think of my work as sharing with my clients all that this area has to offer. And so when not working, you can find me enjoying some of it myself, whether that means jogging along the Esplanade with my spunky Boston Terrier named Riley, volunteering with Girls on the Run, or trying out the newest DIY project.
I am a Portland native with 25+ years assessing, refining and achieving the Real Estate goals of my clients. I am skilled in negotiating and creating opportunities for my clients to obtain maximum results with minimum anxiety. I have been a volunteer at the Portland Housing Center since 2002, educating first time home buyers and serving the community at large. I work by referral and have been honored by my clients by being nominated and awarded the Portland Monthly 5 Star Real Estate Agent award for 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 ,2016, 2017 & 2018 based on my buyers satisfaction. I assist sellers in maximizing their profit potential with counsel on value adding improvements and market timing. I create opportunities for my clients success & wealth building through investment in real estate. I am a Certified Specialist with HOWNW, AHWD and am a Certified Negotiation Specialist.
I believe in the mission of The Portland Housing Center!
For the past 15 years I’ve been servicing individuals who were looking for the optimal real estate experience. It is my desire to help people see beyond their present situation and to achieve their dream of home ownership. I blend professional excellence with a personal touch to ensure each transaction is handled with care.
I pride myself in keeping up with the latest technology, using innovative approaches and staying abreast with Oregon laws. I am actively engaged in continuing my education so that I can stay on the cutting edge of real estate trends and provide the best service to each client. This allows me to educate and bring awareness to every client so he/she can make an informed and confident choice while making one of the largest financial decisions in their lives.
I will use my excellent negotiation and communication skills to my client’s advantage. My passion is to assist each client in seeing their dreams become reality. My commitment to go the “EXTRA MILE” and to take the time to understand each client’s needs has resulted in future referrals and lifetime friendships.
I have been a long time Portland Housing Center advocate and volunteer and am an original member of the Portland Housing Centers Westside Advisory Board. In addition, I have been on the Latino Home Fair organizing committee for over a decade. These efforts have given me a true understanding and a passion for helping first time home buyers achieve their goals of home ownership. I bring the same tenacity and negotiation skills to every transaction no matter the price range or whether this is your first home or your fourth. I will get the job done for you!
While I serve the entire Portland Metro area I know the West side best. I am a long time Beaverton resident. My son is a Sunset High School graduate, who was an athlete and a Scout so there are not many areas I am not familiar with. I will be your guide through the home buying (or selling) journey and will work to make it not only as stress free as possible but fun as well. I pride myself on being extremely responsive. You will never have to chase me down to respond to your emails, calls or texts. This is a very personal process and your priorities are my priorities. you will get the care and attention that you need to make your future home purchase a success!
Licensed in OregonA native Portlander, Alyssa has a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from PSU and a degree in liberal arts from Sarah Lawrence College. Three generations deep in Portland real estate brokerage, Tyson officially joined the family business in 2003. Since, he has taken a blue collar approach, seeking his client’s interests at every turn. He has seen extremes in market trends, learning valuable lessons along the way. The fundamental goal in his work is to empower his clients, enabling them to make informed decisions of their own. This is achieved through educating, acting more as an advocate than a salesman. The hope, that you’ll find his zero pressure approach refreshing. Through the years, he has grown familiar with all the metro area, earned a degree in Real Estate Studies from Marylhurst University and works tirelessly to better serve his clients through his own education. It’s with great pride that he embraces his role as a participating broker at the Portland Housing Center.
I have been a full time Realtor for 14 years specializing in helping first time homebuyers achieve the American dream through home-ownership. As a former college instructor I am a teacher and advisor at heart, and continue to teach homebuyer classes for nonprofits throughout the NW. While attending college I worked in construction and remodeling giving me a unique perspective while touring potential homes. I am a graduate of the Realtor Institute, an Accredited Buyer’s Representative and have specialized training in Master Negotiations but most importantly I will work diligently on your behalf! Just ask any of my past clients.
