Online Self-Study Homebuyer Education Registration

Portland Housing Center offers our homebuyer education as a self-study online course through a partnership with Framework for those in contract on a home purchase. Please note that to successfully complete the online self-study program and receive a certificate of completion, both the online self-study course and a one-on-one counseling session must be completed.

Get Started

Please note this special registration process is for those interested in the self-study online course with one counseling session only. To take this class, you must already be in contract on a home purchase. If you have a co-buyer, please include your co-buyer when completing step 1 & 2 below — there is no additional cost to include your co-buyer.

Step 1
Email OnlineEd@portlandhousingcenter.org with your estimated closing date. If you are already registered with Portland Housing Center, please let us know. You will be provided with the appropriate registration link and/or information. There is a $50 registration fee which will apply toward the one-on-one counseling session.
Step 2
Sign up for and complete the Framework Self-Study Course with PHC. There is a $75 fee for the Framework course.
Step 3
You will receive an email confirmation from Portland Housing Center to schedule your one-on-one counseling session after the Framework Self-Study Course has been completed.

Please note that your certificate will only be issued once the course is completed, all paperwork is returned, and your one-on-one counseling session is completed.
