Complete the following registration to get started today.
There is a non-refundable $99 registration fee per household, paid at the time of registration. Please review our complete fee schedule here.
Please note that we are approximately one month out for counseling appointments and homebuyer education classes.
Please note this registration is for all Portland Housing Center services, including counseling, education, and financial services. Portland Housing Center’s financial services/down payment assistance programs require additional income/asset qualification and are subject to availability. Down payment assistance is just one of the tools Portland Housing Center provides to first time homebuyers, we do not recommend homebuyers registering solely to receive down payment assistance.
As a general rule, a household should have an annual gross income of $40,000 (or at least $3,333 a month before taxes) – OR significant personal funds (e.g., $20,000+) to use toward a down payment in order to afford a home in the Portland metro area. If your income is currently under this amount, please call to discuss your situation with a Portland Housing Center staff member before registering for services.
If you would prefer to register in person or by mail, download the registration packet in English or in Spanish.
