Laurie has been working as a Realtor with RE/MAX for over twenty years. Trained in buyer representation, negotiation and environmental issues, she works hard to put that experience to use helping her clients find the best possible home for their particular needs. She is focused both on the details of the home buying process, and the big picture, analyzing physical characteristics, condition, value, and the intangibles that make a home a great place to live. She works hard to help her clients find a home where they will thrive, at a great price.
Three generations deep in Portland real estate brokerage, I began my personal career in 2003. Since, I’ve taken a blue color approach towards seeking my client’s interests. I have seen extremes in market trends, and learned valuable lessons along the way. It is my goal to empower my clients to make informed decisions of their own through education, acting more as an advocate than a salesman. I take my zero pressure approach all over metro, with areas of specialized knowledge in both urban and rural areas, as well as the all too common “distressed” properties. I have earned a degree in Real Estate Studies from Marylhurst University, and work tirelessly to better my value as a resource to my clients. Additionally, I’m very proud to be a participating broker with the Portland Housing Center.
I grew up in Portland and have lived in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area for the last 26 years. I love the Northwest and the Portland area. I have been a full time real estate agent since 1996, with the philosophy that my job was to help people buy and sell their next home regardless of price range or area. I quickly realized my passion was helping first time buyers find and negotiate the purchase of their first homes. As a buyer’s agent I’m diligent, but a ‘no pressure’ realtor with the philosophy that when together, the buyers and I, find what they are looking for we will move quickly on it.
My strengths as your realtor are communication(keeping you informed of the process as well as the next steps in putting a purchase together), negotiating skills (with 20 years of experience and a large majority of my clients being first time buyers) and just generally being my clients advocate and guiding my clients through the buying process while making it fun and informative during the transaction.
My interests are playing cards(which has helped me immensely in reading a seller or agent when I’m presenting an offer), traveling( I love the balanced perspective it gives me about life), sailing(hours of peace and moments of terror!), shooting pool(keeping the competitive edge up) and music(I write songs, but doubt they will ever be famous?). I’ve been married 33 years(to the same girl!) and have three kids and two grandchildren.
Above all I look forward to working with you, my next buyer, and finding you your first home while being hands-on through out the entire transaction.

Peter Champ purchased his first property in Portland over thirteen years ago after deciding that this was the community in which he and his wife wanted to raise their three children. Prior to becoming a real estate broker, Peter owned and operated a successful import and retail business. A growing interest in Portland architecture and real estate, caused Peter to close the business after 14 years and begin his career as a real estate broker.
Peter takes the pressure out of the real estate process by carefully listening to his clients’ needs, advocating on their behalf and getting the results that they desire.
Peter understands that buying or selling a home is a big step for most people and is very sensitive to his clients’ needs and concerns throughout the process. He strives to instill the same level of comfort and trust he felt when he moved to Portland and bought his first home.
Peter grew up in London, England and has resided in the United States for the last 29 years. He now lives in Portland with his wife, Molly, their three children and a variety of small mammals. He loves the unique combination of urban and outdoor activities that the Portland area offers, and enjoys cooking, wine tasting, coaching soccer and camping with his family and friends.

I’m a midwestern girl who searched up and down the east coast before realizing that Portland is my home. I arrived here as a software consultant only to find that this is a place with a personality unlike any other.
Looking for ways that I could learn more about the area and hoping to share what I learned with others (and to get out from behind my computer screen!), I decided to become a real estate agent in 2012. Since then, I have only fallen more in love with this weird big-little town and I am eager to help you do the same.
I enjoy working in real estate because no two days are alike and every day presents the chance to get to know a new colleague, client, or neighborhood. In fact, what I love most about this line of work are the connections it enables me to make with both places and people. That’s why my job is not just to hand you the keys to your new house, or to find the right buyer for your current one, but to help you feel more at home in Portland or wherever you may be headed.
I think of my work as sharing with my clients all that this area has to offer. And so when not working, you can find me enjoying some of it myself, whether that means jogging along the Esplanade with my spunky Boston Terrier named Riley, volunteering with Girls on the Run, or trying out the newest DIY project.
